Cookies and Web Beacons
We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your terminal device; they do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.
The cookie stores information that arises in connection with the specific terminal device used in each case. This does not, however, mean that we gain immediate knowledge of your identity.
The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. For example, we use ‘session cookies’ to recognise that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These cookies are deleted automatically after you leave our site.
To optimise user-friendliness, we also use temporary cookies, which are stored on your terminal device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, this serves to automatically recognise that you have visited us before, and what inputs and settings you made, so that you do not have to enter them all over again.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, if you disable cookies entirely, you may not be able to use all of the features of our website. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from capturing data by clicking on the link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your data from being collected when you visit this website in the future. The opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and only to our website, and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again.

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by an enclosed key or lock icon in the lower status bar of your browser.
Apart from that, we use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against the unauthorised access of third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
